On January 8, 2020, the Center of Pedagogy at Montclair State University will host a Future Teachers of Color Conference for high school and college students who are interested in becoming future educators. The conference will provide two tracks of workshops for college and/or high school students.
This year’s conference theme is Leading for Change: Inspiring and Motivating a Diverse Teacher Workforce. The conference will be a space for high school and college students to engage in workshops and discuss issues related to preparation and awareness of the teaching profession in the context of social justice, diversity, and equity. The conference will provide students with an opportunity to network with like-minded peers and support their aspirations in the pursuit of teaching as a profession.

Dear Network Colleagues,
Faculty at MSU now apply for tenure, promotion, and sabbatical though Interfolio and no longer submit physical binders. The departments were thinking that perhaps school teachers, or local schools in general, could use the binders that faculty may no longer need.
If you have a need for binders please respond to this announcement and we will make arrangements to get them to you.

The New Jersey Educational Computing Cooperative - NJECC (www.njecc.org) is excited to announce that the request for presentation submission form is now available for educators who want to share with other educators all of the wonderful educational technology projects and activities that they are doing with their students at the 2020 NJECC Annual Statewide EdTech Conference on January 14th, 2020 (http://www.njecc.org/conference/) . Please note that all accepted presenters will be granted free registration to the conference (day one only).
