TITLE: Teaching for Critical Thinking

INSTRUCTOR(s): Gina Parisi and Jean Ann Slusarczyk

This course will focus on creating an environment and developing strategies for promoting critical thinking in the classroom. We will work on developmentally appropriate methods for modeling thinking, questioning strategies, problem-solving, metacognition, listening skills, and classroom interaction. Participants will be encouraged to examine their own lessons and units to infuse critical thinking throughout the curriculum. Suggested grade levels: P-12.
