A rubric an effective way of organizing and interpreting data assembled from observations of student performance. More precisely, it is a scoring guide that differentiates between levels of development in a specific area. As such, rubrics support the mandate for authentic assessment stated in national standards across the curriculum. Beginning with the “end” in mind, participants will create their own rubrics for classroom use. This class is designed for the Middle and High School teacher.
