Photoshop for Beginners

Course Description: This course is a must for the yearbook adviser, but is open to all who wish to learn the basics of Photoshop. It will cover how to utilize layers and master selection tools, work with text, apply special effects, color and how to use blending modes.

Learn retouching strategies for your images, such as red eye, clone stamp and the brush tools. Learn how to create panoramic images for classroom use as well as downloading from your digital camera.  Please bring your digital camera with usb connector and a flash drive.

This mini course meets for two sessions: November 9 and 16. Six professional development hours will be granted for attending this mini course. Please note: MSUNER is a registered provider of Professional Development for the state's 100-hour requirement. You must attend a mini course in its entirety to receive recognition of professional development hours toward the state requirement. MSUNER regrets that it cannot grant any professional development hours if you are absent from any portion of the mini-course.
