The Montclair State University Network for Educational Renewal is offering the MSUNER Teacher Incentive Grant for the 2010-2011 school year. The purpose of this grant is to encourage teachers to enhance student learning. To accomplish this, a teacher can experiment with new teaching strategies, improve skills, develop a class project, etc. This grant is for a teacher who would like to work on a specific short-term project. All you need is an idea.Here are a few examples to start you thinking:• Using Music and Movement to Embed Learning• I’m an Entomologist• Using Film Study to Enhance Literacy Instruction• Wii Academy• Fun with FractionsProjects will be funded in the range of $100 – $200, depending on the project. Funding may only be used for resources. The grant will give you a chance to try out a new initiative. If you think about it, you try out new ideas every year. Why not take this opportunity to receive some funding for your idea.This request for proposals (RFP) outlines the requirements for Network funding.
