MSUNER Ready to Restart:  Teaching Algebra Virtually--You can do it!

This workshop is for Algebra Teachers assigned to hybrid or virtual learning environments.  You can expect to learn techniques for making you comfortable with teaching online.  We will go over advanced classroom routines including setting virtual expectations for your students.  Daily routines will be discussed/suggested.  How do you organize your Google Classroom?  What works best for you?  What will work best for students?  You will learn about all the different applications and tools available to you for free access.  We will discuss, share and work through some of these as well.  The session will include and we will practice using feedback and the various tools on Zoom to engage students.  Lastly, for those interested in creating a Bitmoji classroom, you will leave the session with a basic classroom created.  Information/links and a TIPS sheet of resources will be provided so you can continue to work on your classroom beyond this session.
Note:  Participants should come to the workshop with a Bitmoji account already set up. And they should add the Bitmoji extension to their chrome browser so we can save time.
