Do more with Google Earth than look up your house!  Navigate the globe, add data layers, then create placemarks that can have writing, photographs, and other objects.  Arrange the placemarks in a self-guiding tour that tells a story.  Students can create battlefield tours, author biographies, or exposés of environmental degradation around the globe, and then share their work with others.

Appropriate for teachers of all core subjects, grade 7-12.

Related NJ Core Curriculum Content Standards:  Language Arts 3.5; Science 5.1, 5.3, 5.4; Social Studies 6.1, 6.2, 6.3; Technology 8.1
