The Inconvenient Truth Behind Waiting for Superman

"The Inconvenient Truth Behind Waiting for Superman," is a documentary by the NYC-based Grassroots Education Movement (GEM). The film challenges the claims made in the popular 2010 documentary, "Waiting for Superman," addressing topics such as privatization, testing, unions, teacher-blaming, and the intersection of education and poverty.
A lively discussion will follow.
